My Spring Garden Tasks

Spring Tasks

This afternoon I made a list for all of the gardens and what I think want/need to do in each. I’d like to get these done in the next couple of weeks, but we’ll see.

Tulips in the sunshine

Oz Garden Tasks

  • Plant Mary Rose – this was a Christmas present from Mason. David Austin rose.
  • Plant petunias, with the taller in the middle and low growing ones on the outside.
  • Seed short marigolds. Need to determine which ones I’d like.
  • Fertilize:
    • Start roses and follow every 2 weeks
    • Bulbs – the majority of the bed is bulbs. Do I just fertilize everything every 2 weeks, or do I just do the individual plants and the rest in the fall? Need to research.
    • Iris – need to research frequency
  • Spray roses and irises for mildew, blackspot, etc.
