Well, it was exactly a year ago that I posted that we were starting to work on a new garden on the side of the house. It’s turned out well. Ok. So I’m really impressed with myself and the work I actually got done last year. The spring plants/flowers are marvelous! So what did I plant – lots. Where are the pictures showing all of the work? In the cloud somewhere. This post is focusing on what we did last year to build the garden. Our neighbor removed all of the dirt, put in the new concrete driveway, and added and leveled the garden soil. I added fertilizers and stuff to help the soil and tilled. Enjoy!
Building the Garden in 2021
All of these images show the garden being built last year. The original plan got revised. Instead of having 4 raised beds it’s one large bed with a winding path through it. The reason was the slope and the drainage. It turned out better than my original design – at least that’s what I think.
